Taller Tires

I currently run LT265/75R16 tires on my 2 wheel drive.
I installed a 1.5" front leveling kit. What size (taller)
tire can I fit to fill up the wheel wells without rubbing ?
I don't need to go wider ,just taller so I can use my
factory alloy rims.

I would probably say 255/85/16 or 285/75/16. The 285's look better in my opinion and come in a much better selection than the 255's. my.02. cumminsboy

I just put on General Grabber A/T 2's 295/75/16 no problems at all....they are taller than the 285's and taller and narrower than the 305's:

Very happy so far....

It is my understanding that you can get 315/75's on there with a leveling kit, and stock rims. They'll rub the tracking arms on the inside a little in sharp turns though. I have a set now, and as soon as I modify my 99 truck to take these 2001 alloy rims, I'll take a picture to show you.

315s on stock rims are pretty narrow and they should rub the inside pretty bad in parking situations.

I had 295s on my stock rim and they rubbed pretty bad. When they wore out I put 305s on new 16x8 rims and they don't touch at all. I do have 2" lift on mine though.

Hey guys, he is 2wd like me. I am running 315/75/16 with a little rub on the plastic wheel liner, at full steer, and a 2 1/2" lift in the front.

If on stock rims,

285-295, should do ok, specially on a 4x2, 305 and 315 will rubb up on sharp turns...
