Try resetting the truck back to stock to see if its Smarty or Juice related.. Sounds like an ECM problem

Crankshaft position sensor. Happened to mine. Lose the tach and truck starts to buck and run rough? Then goes away.

Hope that helps.

No crankshaft position sensor in 2000. Cam position sensor takes its place. Its located up under the VP pump. Can be changed from under the truck, it's not easy but it can be done.

I guess I'll take by reciept back to Sunshine Dodge for the CPS they installed in my 2000 cummins in 2001. The Tach was like a windshilf wipper some time.

False. 2k does have a CPS. It was eliminated in '01.
