Swiss Cheesed Airbox??
How do you go about doing this? Are there any differences is performance or sound? I'm debating doing this or getting a free flowing intake on my '97. Just wanted to see what your feelings on this were...

I don't believe in swisscheesing the airbox, it just sucks in hot underhood air.
What I did on mine was holesaw a large hole in the firewall and another in the back side of the airbox and hook them together with 3" RV dump hose. Leave the stock intake intact.
