Tighten the track bar bolt at the axle as tight as you can get it.If this bolt is not tight as heck it will pop & thump while turning.

Its at 150 ft lbs now, and the axle one is fairly tight as well, with the little room I have I was tightening it by pushing my foot on the ratchet, couldn't fit the torque wrench in there.

and its also not doing it while turning, only when I'm backing up then press on the brakes to stop, I don't hear anything under there when turning.

Well....Fixed the problem, seems the control arms were the problem the whole time, tightened all 4 bolts on each side, backed up, hit the brakes hard, no pop!

Now if only I could figure out why sometimes the truck takes longer to start.

sometimes it won't start on a turn key, so I ahve to turn it to off, wait for the lift pump to turn off, cycle back to on, hit start to start the lift pump, wait for fp, then crank it then it starts, kind of annoying when people are around watching

Probably because the lift pump pressure is too great at the IP on start up. Same reason why most people wire their lift pumps to be powered in some way shape or form through the factory wiring, be it direct or relayed.

I have it hooked to the factory harness, when I turn the key to on it goes to 20ish psi then starts dropping, I usually turn to start before it goes all the way to zero, I guess I'll try waiting a few moments after it hits zero then try to start, see if that changes anything.

While on the subject of "fuel" where can I get a replacement filter element for the 35 micron filter that came with the Walbro kit? its in a blue housing with red ends as seen here http://www.wideopendiesel.com/page8.html I Don't think I need a whole new housing, just would like to know where to get the filter inside!
