I want a chip or box, why did you pick the Superchip over Edge or Van Aaken? Is it the price, performance, availability, or options?
I've heard good things about the Superchips, enjoy!!! I'm jealous

I liked the ability to change the programming and not have any connections to make with wiring. The price was really attractive in comparison to the chips and I was able to get a great deal on eBay. A big factor was the capability of reading diagnostic codes and also being able to reprogram the speedo/odometer for different tire sizes. You can't do that with chips/boxes, etc. Think about it.

Im courious about the superchip tuner ,edge ez,vanaakin too. What about this quadzilla thing???
I was told,,,( maybe ********) the super chip reprograms the ECM and the ez and van aakin alters the program comming from the ECM. ????
Who realy know whats going on !! ?? Seems most people just buy stuff and dont have a clue what the h*ll they are buying.

My VA brand new with the warranty and shipping included was less than $250. Plus with the Van Aaken or EZ, you get a built in boost fooler. So in the future you can add some injectors and not have to worry as much about egt's. I also hooked up a toggle switch inside the cab, so if it gets slippery outside I just turn it off.
The van aaken and ez alter the signal going from the ecm to the vp and map sensor, and the superchips tuner just re-flashes the ecm.

the perf-tow mode works best for me it pulls hard on the bottom and does not give up much if any on top, the superchip reprograms the ecm like the mad ecm, the va and ez, comp etc. are signal altering boxes, you can run both at once, performance wise the superchips is not up to the ez or van aaken but worth the $$$ if you need a scanner or want to adjust tire size

I thought the Superchips tuner advanced timing. If it does you dont want to stack it with another timing box You could stack it with a tst or some other fuel only box, but then you would need a boost fooler to keep egt's in check.
