Well you have a few different options....but first you will need some gauges if you don't have them already.
The EDGE Comp is awesome, that is what I have right now and I love it. But it is a little brutal on a stock auto tranny.
Also there is the Smarty, it's a programmer like the Superchips but WAAYYYYY better. That would be my top choice if you were looking for the best bang for you buck.

Well that's a lot better.....but depending on how many miles you have on your clutch it might shorten it's life. But if you go easy on it and don't run around on the highest setting, you'd be just fine with it!!
The manuals hold up to more power than the stupid stock auto's do.

No experience with the SC, but I put a Van Aaken on my truck (65hp) and I can tell you, you will feel a difference. Most not only increase the hp but advance the timing as well, you will feel a difference with a EZ, VA, SC type chip. Even my wife noticed after install, got me in trouble too cause she didn't know I bought it

I would buy a used ez long before the SC, but that's just me, BUT the comp would be the best way to go for you. IMO. You can turn it down to tow and up to play. And you can unplug the MAP plug and blow smoke like the big boys you can pick up a used comp for around $400, EZ for around $200 , YOU need to get some gauges also, FP and EGT's the most
