Super B or Super B Special

Need to decide which turbo for my truck. I should run the Super B or the Super B Special?Which turbo would be best for my 12V in my sig?

Im running the super b now. I got it at a great price brand new. Wish I would have went to the special now. If you plan on new injectors or going bigger in general go with the special.

The Super B Special is 64/71-14, I would definately not suggest this for 355hp. Even the Super B Single "needs" 400-450hp to be efficient, it is 57/65-14.

IMO; on a 12v I would say a Super B is good for 350-425.
The Super B Special; 425-500.

What's your elevation; 3500'?

Maybe 450 to 500 HP, a daily driver and later,I want to pull a car trailer.Seems like a super b would be enough? What do you think?

IMHO with the 5spd and 4.10s:

Lose the Laser cuts and go to some 181s or 191s
62/71/14 or Super B special
Get some bigger injectors and work on your AFC setup.

You sure about the turbine housing being a 14. I believe it's smaller??

And, IMO, the Super B spools very well at 300+ hp.... at least on a 24v it does.

I'm still running BD twins.
My turbos needed rebuilding. Bgt 2 new turbos as I could not have my truck down for 2-3 weeks.
Sold the rebuilds.

Since Holsett is the only company I know that uses cm2 turbine housing sizes, do you know the A/R ratio of the DB Special B?
