I did some looking at Industrial Injection's website this morning and I have some more questions. Which phat shaft do I want. The website only has one listed for the 12 valve and that is the 62. The 64 and 66 only mentions the 24 valve. I can't imagine they wouldn't work on the 12 valve. How big to I want? What are the trade offs? Would one of these make a good single for me now and a good candidate for twins later? Thanks again for all of the input!

40s have exploded from use that's a lot gentler than racing....

The reason that they don't list the bigger turbos for the 12V is that the poorer flow of a 12V head will often cause these bigger chargers to surge badly, making them almost unuseable.

The 62 is what you want for a 12V w/ a stock cam. If you upgrade the cam to a Helix2 or 3 from Don M, then you could easily run the 64 or 66, imo....

Sounds good. Should I also consider the HTB? If so who makes them and what size do I want there? Pros/Cons of HTB vs. Phat Shaft?

HTB2 Is around $1200 depending on the configuration you choose.
