Re:Subwoofers
I have a 10" Pioneer in my truck. I wanted a little extra not a real thumper. It works great. I have 2 more slightly used ones setting on a shelf. If you are interested PM me.

Re:Subwoofers
I put a JL Audio Stealthbox with a 10" woofer in my truck. It replaces the center seat, but the upholstery fits back on it - totally stealth, and it thumps nicely. Using a PPI 4 channel amp, I put MB Quart speakers in the factory locations up front and have an ALpine in dash CD. I don't have the tweeters from the factory, so the Quart's hide nicely behind the door panels. I'm into recording and somewhat of an audiophile - I'm very happy with this setup. Not exactly the kind of boom you hear going down the road - but accurate frequency response down to 40Hz or so.

Re:Subwoofers
That sounds like a pretty good setup dieselgeek. I am looking at 2 JL 12''s with a 600 watt amp. So I quess my question should be- Does any one have more than one subwoofer in their truck? I am looking for some big boom.

I am a little on the extreme side. I have a Pioneer in-dash CD player, with a remote (what can i say, i am lazy). I also have three JL Audio 8 W6 subwoofers under the back seat. I am pushing the subs with a 760 watt Sony x-plod amplifier.

What about fitting two 12's under the back seat? I've got the little storage bin under it right now but I plan on removing that when I get a system. What size amp would you recommend? I've got Pioneer 2 ways all the way around and a Sony X-plod 52Wx4 Head unit.

Talk to Scotty about his setup.. He has a nice stealth install of 2 subs in the back of his rig.. He also has removed the rear seat and re-insulated the whole interior. I believe he has a fake bench made up to house the boomers..

There were pictures of his rig on the net, but I believe he let that go.. too bad...

It sounds like a theater in there.. REALLY cool setup...

J-eh

Re:Subwoofers
I have the JL stealthbox 12 replacing the center seat and the MTX thunderforms dual 10's under the back seats powered by a Rockford 1200 watt mono channel amp with an adjustable bass boost ****, lightning capacitor and an MTX crossover. It absolutely rocks and I can adjust the bass up and down dependant on the music just by moving the **** next to me. The highs are killer too, but thats a separate setup
Evil

Re:Subwoofers
When I bought my truck, it had the MTX Thunderform box with 2 MTX 6000's. Sounded good until a voice coil burned up and took my amp with it. I replaced the MTX's with JL Audio 10W0's and they thump a lot harder in my opinion. I also replaced the MTX amp that burned up with a Rockford Fosgate from a previous install and put MTX 6x9's in the front doors. Finally, a JVC MP3 player sits in the dash (very sweet). Good luck with the install, make sure to use good wire, it does make a difference.
