stupid question about the Adrenallin with pulse
I have been looking around for a better tuner and a guy said he'd sell me an adrenallin (sp) which I found the information on Ebay, while comparing prices my maine thing is what is the pulse part of this what does it do? I hate to ask such a stupid question but the one on ebay doesn't say pulse so I am assuming it is different

Quadzilla's website explains it in detail, but here's the jist: you can monitor many different parameters, like EGTs, boost, trans temp, water temp, TPS %, IAT, and others. It has performance tests and it also logs those tests. It also has user defined defueling settings, alarms, warm-up mode, high idle mode, and a turbo timer. The main thing that a lot of people like about having the Pulse with their Adrenaline is the custom tuning. You can custom tune many different parameters to match your truck and the way you want it run. There are many other features, so I suggest going to Quad's website and checking it out. You can click on JUST the "Pulse CM" link without clicking on the link to the vehicle in which it corresponds to, and this will give you a detailed explanation of what it does. Hope this helps!

I would not want the Adrenaline w/o the Pulse.... but it does not have to be bought with both.
Adrenaline will still give full power with just the pod that allows 11 Power Level settings.

You should definitely get the Pulse monitor if you get an Adrenaline. Even if you already have gauges; the features it adds and the custom tuning make in more than worthwhile. I also would not consider using an Adrenaline without the Pulse monitor.

I use the Adrenaline egt probe to measure cool air temp off the secondary turbo. Very interesting to compare that temp against engine IAT.
Pretty amazing how much higher the cool air temp is with twins (off the secondary) than a single.
Also valuable, the Adrenaline allows us to monitor fuel temp, coolant temp and engine load!
And then there is the custom tuning!

Chapter President
Blind spot only if your 4' tall!
Actually when sitting in the drivers seat i can still see the end of the hood. The Pulse or GPS don't interfere with my field of view.

When I saw that pic, I figured you had to be one of us 'Big Guys' to have no problem with seeing down the road.
At 6'7" I found the 2" front leveling kit had a nice side benefit. In addition to looking better (JMO), I had much better look outside, by raising the top of the windshield!
