Well Jambbii, The only ones I've found for the 16s is 29". Looks like I would have to find something in 15" if I wanted to go taller. Then I would have to purchase a couple rims which might be hard to find. I guess you can say I'm looking for knowledge

There is tons of stuff available. Check out www.summitracing.com for prices on slicks and drag radials. It all depends on what you want to do. If you dont mind changing tires at the track , then slicks may be the choice (some people just drive around on the street with slicks ) There are tons of available drag radials from various companies too with a wide variety of sizes.
I take it you are 2wd?

Yes my truck is 2wd. I have a portable air compressor and generator so changing the tires at the track would not be too big of a chore. Thanks for the web site.

https://www.hoosiertire.com/Drtire.htm - has a few 16" slicks, but I don't think you'll be able to find a 8lug wheel wide enough. Would be cool to have a 33x16x16 slick!
http://www.intercotire.com/site23.php - also has a few 16" slicks. M&H sponsored the DHRA in 2003 & 2004.
Nitto has a NT 555 R DOT-drag slick. It's sticky enough that you can dig out chunks of the tire with your fingernail- I tried.
Mickey Thompson also makes some excellent drag slicks. http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip.html
Good luck at the strip! Where's your local track?

We go to a couple of good tracks one is just west of Baton Rouge, La and the other is the NO Problem Raceway south of Baton Rouge. But just for tuning we have a little track that was abandoned for awhile just out of Eunice, La. Not much but asphalt and timing lights. Hope the tires help me get a little more on my take offs
