Strange Clutch Behavior

Right after I installed the injectors, I took her for a drive and could slip the clutch pretty much at-will with my right foot. The beast is still running great (same boost numbers) but now the clutch doesn't slip any more at WOT. Did I burn the grease off of it ??? What's up with this? I never did let it slip more than a fraction of a second, then I'd back off. Has anybody ever heard of a clutch that stopped slipping?

Re:Strange Clutch Behavior

I've heard of one that started slipping, in fact, it did that Saturday going down the quarter mile in Jacksonville. :'(

Re:Strange Clutch Behavior

Maybe your clutch was glazed and that little bit of slipping just wore the glazing off. Happens on the Vette all the time. Especially when slipping the clutch off the line. It's a little slippery for maybe a day or so but then it starts grabbing just fine.

That makes more sense than anything else I can come up with.
