Youll eventually notice the drone that comes with it

Past 2K RPMS mine gives off that drone, i just back off it a lil bit and it aint so bad to deal with.. Sounds sweet eh? he he he he.. Local and neighbors will now know that you are coming, besides, your 24V idles more clackety and loud than my 12V does, and for that im jealous he he he he he.. Enjoy your new "free flowing" exhaust..

Tx

With a 5in. straight exhaust the drone is pretty loud at about 2100 rpm's but I think it sounds sweet. And towing a trailer it sounds just plain bad!No CTD should have a muffler.

I part of the straight pipe club as well!!!

No drone at all... Matter fact most people that ride in the truck don't notice the straight pipe until there roll down the windows.

Local cops don't even mess with me. They just wave and get jealous... He's got a Duramax and GM won't let him pull the muffler off... It will void the warranty!

I've been told I can be heard up to 2 miles away... That's while I bury the skinny pedal in the carpet!

Any one need a stock muffler setup???

I have mine straight piped with 3 inch duals. Now that produces a cool sound & twin black cloud tornadoes in 5X5 on the Comp.

i got my 3" from a repair shop and had them expand both ends. i would think any muffler shop or reapir shop that does 3" would be able to help you. then just get two clamps, take your muffler and stuff off and slide the pipe in. took me about 1/2 hour

Yeah, gotta love the sound eh? I have never had any problem with the drone either. Not even while towing.
