straight vs. muffler?

i was just wondering if i would notice a power difference with putting an exhaust system on which had a muffler, say flowmaster, gibson,or magnaflow,, versus having a full 4 inch straight pipe. which would be better for power/torque, with noise not being a factor, loud is good.

Nope!
If noise is no factor... leave it straight piped. That will give you max power output. Flow Through muffler, like the MBRP, will not reduce power, but will not add any either. Most others will ad some back pressure.
