My exhaust on the ford was e-bay cheapie ie "magnaflow style" it does have the fins though. I did the angle iron trick it did seem to get rid of some of the drone. But I have gotten used to it and like it so no biggie!!

I straight pipedm mine a year ago exits the same as stock with a 5" SS tip. Got PLENTY of noise polution tickets up here. Way to costy so I installed a 4" staright through muffler from FloPro and it sounds nice and deep. Staright pipe was extremely loud when towing. ( from Toronto Canada to Sedona AZ ) 8600 km's round trip.
