straight pipe

What is the best “kit” for straight piping, and roughly how much. I’ve been thinking of doing stacks for a while but don’t think I will. I’ve called a couple places to get ‘em done and no luck, no one wants to cut the bed. Anyway my exhaust broke on Friday and I need to do something. I have a muffler shop near me and guy says he’ll do a straight 4” pipe stainless, all welded for $850.

I think you're getting ripped off if you go with that $850 exhaust
Geno's Garage sells a muffler delete "kit" for much, much less than your local muffler shop.
I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say your exhaust broke, but if you do what I & many other people here did you'll save yourself about 800 bucks.
Go to an exhaust shop, get a piece of three inch pipe and put it in place of your factory muffler & resonator find a friend or somebody to weld it together = straight pipe

That’s part of my problem, I don’t know anyone who welds and the shops seem not to want my money. If someone could help me out that lives near Oxford, PA or knows someone near here, I’d greatly appreciate it. Ideally I’d love to through stacks on it, but at this point I’ll take what I can get.

Well it doesn't have to be welded. Exhaust clamps will work....just wrench 'em down tight. What exactly happened to your exhaust?

Sorry, broke off just past the resonator, all rusted out. I know I can clamp, but a good welded stainless will be there for a while.

Allright, If you definitly want stainless, there are lots of places out there to get a good exhaust, still for a lot less than what you were quoted. Heck, I've seen stainless (-304 type) 4" duals for the price you got. Check out some of the site sponsors, or this place I usually look at.... www.bigexhaust.com

Whereabouts would I find a 5" T-304 Stainless Turbo Downpipe along with a 5 inch Straight Through Stainless Muffler?
The rest I am just going to get 5" Stainless Tubing to fit the downpipe and muffler together, then I am still configuring as to where to dump this exhaust as I dont like to have any bends whatsoever in the exhaust which all the tailpipes always do. Any Ideas?
