Stolen Truck (keep an eye out guys)
YEP! You heard right. Happy Thanksgiving to me! Woke up this morning and it wasn't in the driveway. Didn't hear a thing. There are actually tire tracks in the street that lead me to believe it was a wrecker that came and took it. I am up to date on all my payments so it has nothing to do with the bank. Called the police dept. and there isn't a whole lot that they can do other then wait and see. Oh and a police officer lives right next door and his squad car sits in his driveway. Please keep your eyes and ears open for me guys. here is what she looks like

That's why alot of theives are resorting to tow truck. nobody questions them.
There was alot of that goin on around here last year, but the cops started pulling over ALL tow trucks.

I copied this thread from the NCDTR#18 forum to try and get a few more eyes looking for this thing. We need to find this truck before they load it in a container ship and send it South.

Sorry to hear your truck was stolen. Just a tip for everyone, I always back in the driveway. It's harder to tow the truck away. They would have to hook up to the front and drag the locked up rear end. This may make a bit more noise and they won't be able to go very fast. Then they would have to unhook and hook back up to go any distance.

that is a great point gherrmann. That i one of my lessons learned. I also learned not to have nice things. It's a shame that i saved my money for 4 years for that truck and then used a good bit of my re-enlistment bonus money from the marine corps on mods just to have it taken from me in a second

I feel you... I got my dirt bikes stolen two weekends ago too. Cops couldn't do anything. Now I want to get a GPS tracking device for my vehicles. I can't believe people can get away with this.

A GPS tracking device is a great investment. A friend of mine has one, which allows me to track him as he is going down the highway. He told me a story of how one of his friends had his welding stolen. He called the police, gave them the code to access the GPS, while at the same time tracking his truck on his own computer. He recorded all the stops the his stolen vehicle had made, and relayed the info to the police. The police were able to retrieve all of the trucks equipment that had been dropped off at various locations, and the truck itself. All of the thieves were also arrested at the scene. This was possible because everything was seen and done in "real time".
