Stock Turbo Limits
I have the RV275 injectors and the Van Aaken V5 timing / fuel box. Can
the shock turbo keep my EGT's in check if I stack a TST PM3 or the
Blue Chip APB fueling boxes,or would my EGT's rise so quickly , that I
wouldn't be able to use the fueling boxes to their full pontential ?

Just my .02 cents here, but with those mods I'm pretty sure you would be pushing more fuel then your turbo could handle, and you deffinently wouldn't be using them to their full potential.

Short answer,
No, i doubt it, at 347 horses on a dyno run with me, my truck was smokin hard with a blocked gate and a stock turbo with a 14 cm exhaust housing. With those mods ur talkin bout id guess ur way over that, if u have a good drivetrain.

Well both TST and APB are adjustable so you can turn them down if it gets too hot. I think the apb is a good option for someone with injectors and a timing box- it just seems that most folks running more than one box want all the power they can get and go with the hard hitting tst

thats what I was thinking. The APB box is only 85 hp and adjustable,
so I can turn it down when towing. Then I can turn it up for short
blasts when needed.

Is the arp a fuel only box or timin and fuelin?
Body of mine saw it wand was woderin it if it would be better than a ez till he could get a good clutch but didn't know if it would stack good with anything else.

See my signature. At 347 RWHP and with a stock HX35W-12, I can hit 1450 degF pre-turbo EGTs when towing our 5th wheel, so I drive by the pyrometer. If you're gonna tow, the limit of around 320 RWHP that gets tossed around is probably pretty close for an HX35W-12.

You mention a Smarty in your signature. You will want that first...for the timing....before the TST. The two together are spectacular...but you will still need to turn down the TST when towing with a stock turbo, even with just 275's.

if you're leanin towards the blue chip products I'd say skip the APB & go to the FMS, they are an awesome box with loads of adjustments, a little more $ but probably worth it in my opinion, I also am a fan of the fuel only/ timing only stack, makes it nice when you can kill the fuel for normal driving or certain towing situations, but that's just my opinion???? not tryin to start a big war or anything, just really like the way my truck is setup that's all, Dusty
