stock+injectors for mpg
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What would you guys suggest as the best replacement for stock injectors on 96 12 valve. The truck has a new stock auto transmission ,truck has 230000 kilometers on it ,the torque converter is stock the valve body is stock. I am interested in a clean burning mpg focused injecter that won't cause my new tranny to fail in 20000 kilometers. I don't need tons of power it has all that I need. If it helps a small hp gain is ok but not at the expense of reliability. Any suggestions ? If a few bolt on mods to the auto trans will help without opening up the tranny again at great expense,I am open to that but not dropping the tranny again. Again mileage and reliability are the focus, thanks ahead of time

New stock injectors.
Sounds like you already have what you want. They will burn clean and not kill your new trans and give good mpg.
Any tinkering can lead to reliability problems.
What bolt on mods do you have in mind for the trans?

I'm thinking a DTT upgrade kit ,valve body, trans regulator, billet band anchor and billet band strut. Possilbe shift kit if one can be recommended. I hope that with theses items a slight performance injector maybe ok, gotta save the tranny for the billet torque converter, when I can afford it. I want to save this new tranny as much as possible. Just bought truck with 3000 kilometers on new trans don't want to mess it up, maybe even put on external twist on remote filter to help keep sparkling clean .
