stock fuel filter canister leak
who is running the stock fuel filter cannister with aftermarket pump
i'm having problems with the drain **** the o rings don't last more than 5-6 months and it would start leaking is there a way to remove it maybe some type of plate or a cover
only running about 15-17 psi
or go with a diff type of filter
thanks

I got rid of mine when I installed an AD, but prior to that I never "used" the drain valve and mine never leaked (almost 380,000kms+) I've heard that they do leak if you use them, I'd only use the drain if the WIF lite comes on.
it is possible there is a burr or something thats tearing up the O-rings or your using a substandard o-ring that does not hold up to diesel fuel (ignor that if your buying from a cummins dealer)

when I had my 2000, I had the same thing. Leaking valve. I replaced the whole unit as the truck had to roll work. After I replaced the whole unit, no leaks. Be VERY careful screwing it back in. I stripped out the back screw with 2 fingers and trying to get a tap in there was BRUTAL.
