Stock except for Rv275 Dyno #'s

Well I went to the Portland Dyno day. First time I been to a Dyno anything day, and tyhe first time I ever heard Twins spool up!! I so NEED twins now!! Ok anyways my truck dyno'd at 257hp and 507 Tq. To me that seems a little high, not that I'm complaining, but does that seems to be HO numbers? Either way I'm happy.

Hmmm. Interesting. You've got the same truck and mods I do (cept the comp)and if those numbers are correct, I should be putting out about 300hp give or take some and somewhere around 600 tq. Hmmm. Very interesting.

Those numbers are about right for just 275s. Add an EZ and you'll see about 40hp more. Comp will add 85-90 on an HO, about 110-115 on a SO.

so is your truck a SO or HO, what negative effects do you see from just running 275 injectors? reliability? fuel economy? EGT's?

There is absolutely no drawback to the RV275 injectors, simply more power and efficiency.

Quite!! My wallet can't keep up!! The wife says I should start saving for a tranny soon. She knows me all too well. The bug gets worse when combined with a dyno!

Only thing bad about the RV275's is fuel mileage went down.....
No sideaffects at all, other than wanting more. Trying to drive easy now and at about 280 miles and just above a 1/2 tank. TRYING to keep it below 5psi and under 11800 rpms. Not easy. My EGTs went up to just under 1000 with the 275, I can get it over 1000, but having to push it -->Dirty airfilter. Truck is more responsive with them.

Take away 20% for driveline loss, that is what I have at the crank. Yea I think 20% is a little optomistic, prolly more like 12-15% driveline loss?

Tire Size

What size of tires are on your truck? They look like 265's maybe?

I'm doing the RV275 install later this week or over the weekend and I was very interested in seeing those numbers. Thanks.

I quite happy with the RV 275, I running a super tuner with it. It be interesting to do a before and after with the super tuner on a dyno , it set on the 70 HP setting.

Yes the tires are the 265's. I'm very happy with the injectors. Good luck with the install, taking my time it took me 2 hrs, on last Thanksgiving, so the roads were nice an empty for the test drive

My MPG went up about 1.5MPG after installing the 275's. I am 100% sure I had a couple weak injectors though, probably contributed to the increase.

I just installed my RV275 injectors yesterday and WOW! It's a whole new truck! I can't believe the response it now has right off idle and it pulls so much harder all the way to redline. Step on the "go" pedal and it hauls! I know I'm not going to see the benefit of better mileage that apparently comes with these injecots for a while -- I can't keep my foot out of it!

The stock injectors were totally covered in carbon build-up so I know I wasn't getting optimal torque/power of it anyway. Only took me about 2 hours to complete the job. I'm very happy with the 275's and would highly recommend them!
