Still no smoke??

Still no smoke??
Good morning all,
Over the weekend I installed Rod's Hi-Flow banjo bolts, and already had a TST PM1. I was hoping for some smoke before a truck pull this weekend, but I can hammer it from a dead stop and not even get a whiff from what I can see in the mirrors. Anybody have any suggestions? I love the smoke when a load is applied, and I thought it would look good when the sled is moving.

Thanks,

Tiny

Re:Still no smoke??
Smoke is all relative. Some might think a little is a lot, and a lot is a little.

IMHO, with just a COMP box, on 5x5, there was VERY little smoke. :

Andrew

Re:Still no smoke??
With the new lift pump and the Hi-Flows, I am cruising 65 at 13.5-14 psi. If I nail it from a dead stop I am unable to see any smoke in the passenger side rear view mirror.

What is your elevation? The lower you get I beleive there is less smoke???? Maybe something to do with it? Get yourself a TST powermax comp with some EDM Mach 4's and she will smoke

Get rid of them injectors - 1/2" pipe threaded into the head ;D

With my truck I see great difference in smoke depending on the fuel I use.
Usually the less smoke the better the economy.

AlpineRAM

Re:Still no smoke??
You said that under a load you see some smoke. If you are pulling you will be under a load. Trust me. My buddy has just the Edge ez and he gets a nice flow of smoke, but it clears quick.
