Looking to add some more horsepower. EZ, Mach 1.5's and PDR 35 turbo with a 14 cm wategated housing. Has anyone run this combination pulling 15,000 lbs? Or, is there a better way?

 

That sounds similar to my plans.........I plan on doing an EZ with Mach 2's......I'm looking for as close to 400 rwhp as I can get without using a wire tap box and a huge injector........Your truck should be a towing monster.

 

4R, Specify a 1.6 towing injector for the 15K trailer. Runs cooler than the 1.5

Sounds like a nice set up. Might want to consider more air....a HX40/35 hybrid, maybe.

Don, how are the 1.6's different from the 1.5's? Same horsepower?

 

4r, that will be a nice combo . i have a friend that had really close to the same set up he had the van aakens box i now have and a set of 1.5s with the stock charger and pulled 12 to 18k all the time with little to no egt issues . he loved the set up but wanted more now hes got a comp 130hp injectors and a ksb-1 .

Is your turbo a HY35? or a HX35?

 

1.6 have slightly more HP than a 1.5. 10 or so and better smoke and heat control.
