I get a kick out of seeing the systems you guys put together. I guess my ears just can't or don't know how to appreciate the definition and clarity your systems must put out.

Seems to me, I'd be a lonely lost pup if I tried to set something like that up.

I'll have to listen to somebody's rig sometime. Maybe you can "fix" me

It's loud, but clear. 2 800w rms 12's with a 1500w mono channel amp wired down to 1 ohm with polk momo 6.5" components up front powered by a 250w 2 channel alpine, alpine headunit, and pioneer 2 ways in the rear doors.

Shaking head....I gotta lot to learn before I understand that.

I do understand the complexities, been in avionics and electronics most of my adult life. When you get to talking about this amp or that and that kind of thing, I'm lost. I always thought most systems were based on either 4 or 8 ohms.

Earlier, I said I needed to hear a system. Been thinking, better not. I know I'd have to start building one.

Impressive.

It really is addicting. Of all the things I've done to my truck, the sound system is one of the few things I'm still happy with. I've got it setup to where I can listen to any type of music and it's really balanced. Well, until I go to rap. Then it's all subs. But I figure that if I'm gonna keep this truck as long as I am then I might as well have a decent sound system to go with it.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how any true lover of music can enjoy "rap".

I know I've told you this, if it has a good beat, I'll listen to it. I don't listen to rap for the words. Just the music.
