Steering Issues,
Well while home on leave, my mechanic buddy, who did a little work on my pickup for me while I was gone, told me that my front end was worn out, of course now I forget what all he said needed work. While driving I realized how much play was in the steering. Thus my question is what all should I replace and with what. I see a lot of upgrades at different stores, what all works and what all should I be looking at?
Thanks.
Rob
Thanks.

a Steering Stabilizer (brace) and a 3rd Gen trackbar (or just a new one) will do a lot to eliminate play!

Other than that....have the ball joints checked by a professional. Thanks for your service.

First of thanks for you service. After 320k my ball joint are still good as well as the tie rod ends. The track bar was shot. Put a new stabilizer shock and new tack bar drives as good as my 03. I will be doing the luks link next and the brace for even better stearing. May get around to the steering box next.
