Steering Brace from Solid Steel Industries

Does anyone know much about the steering brace and track bar kit offered by Solid Steel Industries?

http://www.solidsteel.biz/

I have driven two 2001 Dodge 2500 4x4s with oversized tires and both wandered TERRIBLY! I am planning on running the 315/75/16 tires on mine and want to prevent any extra wear on the stearing box. Does anyone think these would help with keeping stearing under control?

It works awesome. I've had one for the last 80,000 miles so.

2nd that....it certainly works as advertised. I have had one on my 3500 for about 2 years now and it was well worth it. Don't wait for the box to wear out....Just buy it.

they work great. at about 50k miles on the one truck the steering box started leaking out of the bottom seal beacuse the lateral load is to much on it. We put DSS's on both trucks at that point. It stablized the steering shaft out of the box and it hasnt leaked again since. 300k miles later. The other truck has 40k on the DSS and still going strong. Both run oversized tires. 33" on the 300k and 35-39" (depending on weather) on the 40k

OK, Whew. I was on vacation a few weeks ago and ran across the product. Having heard of steering box problems I just went ahead and ordered it and put it on my truck without checking to see if anyone else had info on it. I am glad I made a good purchase.

I have one on mine. It is a well made product, and a must have addition.

The 3rd gen track bar kit makes just as mutch of a change I say they are both a must on any 2nd gen even with stock tires. I have both and it handles better than any other 2nd gen I have been in. Get them both its worth it.
