Starting issue
I'm having trouble with my 99 2500 starting in the mornings. I have to use starting fluid to get it to start...and when I went to go start it this morning it wouldn't even crank over. Anyone have any ideas what it could may be?

What's your battery voltage?
Does it at least click- try to crank etc?
Please describe your problem a little better.
About the starting fluid- this is an absolute no-go for these trucks. They have an intake heater that can make the air/starting fluid mixture explode and that can injure people, damage the truck and set stuff on fire!

Lots of possibles which can cause your starting issue. Like fuel pressure, fuel leaks, bad batteries, dragging starter, corrosion on and/or inside cables, corroded grounds, non-functioning grids, etc..... So post as much info and history about the truck and then maybe someone can better help.
And yes.....DO NOT use ether on these engines unless you disconnect the grid heater otherwise you run the risk of engine intake explosion which will not only damage your engine but also cause those around harm. Plus ether is just bad to use since its extremely dry and hard on the cylinders. OK for things like lawn mowers.
