Stainless braided fuel pressure gauge hose
#16
I pass it though 1/4" tubing to act as a protective sheath though.
Before I went to mechanical had an electrical gauge whose sender leaked. Diesel wicked up under the wire insulation and dripped in the cab.

Stainless braided line can still leak when the rubber inside rots. I had stainless Earl's tracer line(very expensive) on all hoses in my sandcar and the fuel lines turned into a mister system this season. This made for a very dangerous situation when raw fuel was spraying all over the hot exhaust. I would save the money on the braided line and get some high quality Parker push lock rubber hose. Eric

I still have the SS, I just put the rubber hose in between the SS and my connection point to the system to isolate the vibration and noise. The rubber hose is actually low pressure hydraulic hose with nylon braiding. My needle valve is between the ruber hose and the SS.
