Stacks and Sp66 are on!!!

This past weekend my buddy and i installed my 5" straight pipe miter cut stacks and my sled puller 66. All i can say is WOW, my truck absolutley hauls butt. I feel bad for my tires because they are seeing some abuse. It sucks because they are brand new and they were expensive, but the i can not resist the urge to hit the go pedal. The turbo is unreal, it seems to make much more power (SOP) feel then the super 40 did. I would say the the lag between the two is very small, the 66 is just a wee bit more laggy, but the more and more i drive it, the lag seems to be less and less. I would deffinetly not want to run this turbo with out a MAD ECM, it helps tremendously with spooling it up. I love my stacks, it was probably one of my favorite purchases for the truck. I have pictures of everything, but i do not know how to make the size, KB smaller so that they will be allowed to upload into my gallery. Does anyone know how i can change the size, in KB of them? Thanks

I noticed that after a night of running HARD at the drag strip, the turbo started spooling up a LOT better.. Seemed to break in a bit.. This was at around 2,000 miles on the turbo.

You are going to love it!

yeah, i got about 200 miles on it right now, and everytime i drive the truck, it seems to spool better and better, i remember when i had my super 40 on there the same exact thing happend, was a pig at first but after it broke in, the lag seem to become less and less. What kind of Boost numbers are you seeing with your turbo? Thanks

yeah, the max that i have seen on mine is 47 lbs, i have an adjustable boost elbow on it and i have not made any adjustments to it yet. Right now the allen screw is shut, turned all the way to the right, i am not sure if i will loose or gain boost by turning it to the left and backing off the set allen screw. Any insight on how these work? Thanks

As far as resizing the pics open them with microsoft paint (comes with windows) go to image tab and select stretch/skew put in lets say 50% for horizintal and vertical then save and its now 1/2 size =P

Have fun with the SP66

I just got my Tonneau cover back tonight, i had two 5 1/2 in holes cut in it and stiched up by a boat cover maker. I did a quick fit to make sure that i measured everything right, and by god, i made the right measurements. I will put it all together tomorrow if it stops pouring outside and i will take some pictures of it to see what you guys think of it. I am pretty excited about it and i think that it will look good when it is all put together.

I need more fuel to the injectors at this point.

My fuel pressure drops to 16-20 at WOT in overdrive.
Thats AFTER doing some AFC mods. I want to get my pump tuned.

I have laser cut dvs from Scheids.

EGTs are OK, they will peg obviously but you hit about 80MPH first

The turbo in my gallery is the Sp 66, I got some new pictures that i will upload now that have my tonneau cover on. I am happy with the way it came out, it looks really sweet. I got the stacks from a local distibuter for Grand Rock Pipes. I think i am going to be working out a deal with NOSPIN4ME for my super 40. He has a set of 200hp EDMS and we might work out a deal. I am excited to see what it will do on the Dyno next saturday the 20th.
