Stacks or not???

I am looking to do something to my exhaust. I want stacks but what do you guys think about Twin Stacks.. And for those who have them how do they sound in the cab and out?

If i put stacks on my truck what mods should i do?
(programmer, air filter)

Anyone have any good pictures of what twin stacks look like on a QC SHORT BED.

Im going to try to get a word in edge wise before BigBlue Farts all over himself to reply to this thread! I have rode/drove his truck with dual 5" stacks. I was going to run a muffler with mine....but i think will go stright. It is not that bad at all! Its louder...dont get me wrong.....but VERY managable! Check out BB's pics....or give him about another min...and he will have pics on here.......

I aint' putting pics on here because they look like dog doo doo but you can check them out in my gallery. I love them. Absolutely love them. I've gotten compliments from truckers, college kids, middle school kids, old people, young people, everyone. They really aren't that loud in the cab. They are a lot quieter than I expected them to be. I'm definately gonna run them straight pipe.

Stacks are great......right up there with putting a Camaro body on a 4X4 chassis with 38" Boggers

Way too redneck for me, and my neck is RED

I recently got my 4" exhaust (not straight, but not far from it).

Then, early this week I had a chance to go to a "Big Rig" junk yard, Ohhhh, Man! I could have saved my self some $ AND got a cool looking set up. This place has stacks and Y pipes out the wazoo. It's very tempting, but my new exhaust is barely even sooted up. Plus, the wife thinks they are HillBilly. I have seen some wicked looking trucks on the road lately with 6" stacks, one is even the same color as mine. I have to say (no offense to present company), I don't like the look of the turn outs, either mitre cuts or turned straight back are cool though.

All in due time. My mods are not worthy of stacks yet, maybe later on.
