Stacking with Edge Comp box

I have a 1999 CTD and i recently put a HTB2 62/14 on it.... but even with BD power 110 HP injectors, and the edge box on 5x5 i don't get enough fuel at full boost.. or enough boost.. i only hit about 36lbs of boost.. i am thinking i don't have enough fuel at high RPMs.. the smoke is gone once i hit boost in overdrive.. not even a little bit left.. Should i find a chip to stack in order to up the fuel ? or should i go another route ?

You want to be able to clear smoke on a street truck. More boost won't give you more power unless you have the fuel for it. Do you know what your wastegate is set at? 36 does sound kinda low to me, but its probably right around that turbos peak effeciency so I'd guess your egts aren't high?

If you want more fuel/smoke/boost/heat and you're not going to be doing any heavy towing you can look for some bigger sticks. Mach 4's would be nice.

I agree on bigger injectors. I don't think the BD injectors are their strongest products!

The Mach 4's, from F-1, are an honest 150 hp... and will smoke less than your BD's. If you have a waste gate..it's probably set at 40 psi. Mach 4's will get you there in 'style', and then some!

Don't forget to take care of your head and gasket, if you haven't already. Fill in Signature (in User CP) so we know what all you have done!

Sounds like your running just perfect to me. With my comp/100hp injectors/KSB-1 I was only hitting 40psi but my egt's were at 1250-1300* and I had absolutely zero smoke at WOT and I put down 398hp/820tq. Smoke is nothing but unburnt fuel. If you have no smoke at WOT then that means you are burning all of the fuel you have and are making max power out of your setup. If you want something to stack with the comp, get a smarty.

If its not fueling at high rpm's, you need to send your comp in to get it upgraded to the drag comp. The comp fuels to 2700rpm and the drag comp goes to 3200rpm or whatever the redline is. With the drag comp it will pull hard all the way to the redline.
