stacking chips

ive heard of guys stacking chips like 3 at a time

i know you can stack an edge comp with like a smarty but what else is there

some one told me on another site you ca n even add a redline box to those two

what does each box control as far as feuling?

You can run a fuel only box, a fuel + timing box, and Smarty on even numbers

my 2 cents is this tell us alittle more on what your trying and wanting to do. not alot of people run a 3 combo. most get the power and fuel econ they want with combo like TSTpm (fuel box) stacked with a smarty. able to run on odd SW programs(adds timing) or TSTpm with edge ez, or many other like smaller timing boxes. or Edge comp that has timing and fuel together. if ran with a smarty use only even number SW (fuel only) you dont want to add alot of timing. now that was sorta a nut shell answer. pending things like injectors turbo stock vp, so or Ho or monster VP's this in ways can change your downloaders or boxes completely. best to decide what you actually want. power wise. budget wise. and driving habits etc. this would help you with getting some more advise on this thread. hope this didnt confuse you.

redline or TST, Edge comp or juice without the pump tapped or an edge EZ, than a Smarty on even levels

over this winter im building this truck into a 2.8 puller driveabilty is not a huge concern as i have another vehicle but i have just heard this and that about stacking ceirten chips and modules. I feel i need to get a redline box for the 4000 rpm and total feuling control but does that mean i need to sell my drag comp and still get a smarty? ive got ddp comp injectors sitting at the house and im looking into either a dragon vp or some sort of hot rod.

im just looking for the best combo electronics wise for my application

i have a tst and edge ez stack. fuels pretty hard. i think once you stackin 3 chips your kinda just wastin money. i think im gonna go back to a good old edge comp. it is as strong as the tst/ez stack and its cheaper. if you want more real power thats worth the money go get some injectors and a turbo upgrade. jmo.

Hey guys.... Question, im new to the whole diesel thing and I have an edge comp box now, which I love and have no problems with. Now I was told that I can only stack it with a tst pm3, which I ordered. Is it hard to stack the tst box with the edge comp box

dont know many people running this stack unless your vp (injection pump) tap is on the TST only and you edge is just done with the map. basically its the same as the edge EZ. you should look at running your edge with a smarty.
