Stacking Boxes

How do you connect two boxes that both require seeing the MAP sensor? My van Aaken has been connected to the MAP sensor for three years and the PowerMax instructions say it needs to be connected to the MAP sensor.

How do you do that?

Not familiar with those boxes but stacking chips that both do a lot of timing will blow your motor. Tread lightly.

The VA is a timing box, the TST is not.

Thanks for the reply.

Do your fuel only box first: Engine MAP sensor, TST harness, VA harness, then MAP harness

You piggy back them. Im not 100% shure which one is first, but i think you plug the tst in then the va into the tsts and the stock plug into the va.

Thanks Guys, that is how I have it now, but I'm getting a higher idle (100-150 rpm) and a stumble at the same time. TST said that happens when the MAP sensor is clogged. Mine had a little bit of fouling on it, but it cleaned off easily and the problem remains. I also did the IAT while I was in there stretching across the top of the engine. That made no difference either.

Try switching the way you have them hooked up, see what happens.

Check your pump tap. I had same problem when I had mine stacked and the pump tap wasnt getting full contact.
