stack kits?

I just put my Free stacks (minus the 5" ACTUAL STACKS) on my 1991.5 CTD. They rock, I will have pics up in about a week when the old lady gets back with my camera. My ? is, a friend also wants to stack his 1990, and I remember a few kits on ebay that had it all for about $380. Right now, I can't seem to find them over there. Any help please? He also wants to run 5" mitre cuts like mine. BTW, the sound is un-real, and I can't seem to keep the rear sliding glass closed.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I'm sure I would have found that out the hard way . Getblown, I'm in Morgantown, WV. I'm not hard to spot with the dual trucker CB whippers and the soon to be 5" stacks blowin smoke all over the place. I just need to convince myself that I really don't need the cap anymore since the stacks would be sooo cool, and they should lower EGT's to help with performance

Dusty, I reckon my first post was a bit misleading, SORRY! I got the stack kit in my bed, but I have'nt had a chance to put 'em on yet. I will have them on by the time I get my digital camera back, so it's a waiting game till then. Sorry for the confusion, and if nobody likes it, all I got to say is I will soon have stacks!!!!!! Just kidding, thanks for all the help guys

I did have them on for a few hours, but that was only clamped on, and I want to do it the right way, WELD... So that is how I know they sound soooooo cool and all. Basically it was a pre-fit deal, and then I removed them and went back to the underbed exit till I could have a go at the welder to do it the right way.

cool deal, now I understand, can't wait to see some pics, & try & get some "smoke" pics if ya can , that's really the only reason I want stacks, I think stacks on the smokeless trucks suck, just doesn't do them justice if they aren't filled with the coal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, let us know when ya get the pics, Dusty
