Are South Bend clutches labeled????

I bought a dual disk clutch from a guy & was just wondering how to tell exactly what it is???

here is what I know it's a 12 button, dual disk, & has 3600 written on the pressure plate with silver paint, I'm assuming that it's a 3600 lb 12 button ceramic clutch, I looked on the SB website & the pads on the ceramic clutches were a brownish color like mine, & the feramic pads were a silver color, so I think I have a 3600 lb. 12 button ceramic clutch, good to 650 hp????? does this sound right???? thanks, Dusty

Sounds like you have a 3600 SBC 12cb.
Easy way to tell is if the centerplate has 4 lugs that reside in notches in the flywheel.
