South Bend Clutch
I'm looking at the South Bend model mu0090 con o. will this cluth hold with my current mods? i'm thinking of getting some mild injectors in the future. I don't tow really heavy. I do have a heavy right foot tho. I would get the 13" upgrade kit but don't really have the money, It says it holds 400hp 900ftlbs. I shouldn't be close to that should I?

save your money up and do it right the first time. definitely upgrade to the 13", it makes a big difference. also always go one step past what you think you will make powerwise. if you plan on 400hp...get a clutch for 450hp rating.
once you get the bug and want more power, it gets real expensive buying another clutch every 6 months.

No a con O is good for a stock truck that will last forever, if you have a chip and might wanna put some injectors in later def get the OFE or even the FE. Iv'e been there and done that and bought 2 clutches as well, and if i didn't cheap out the first time I'd have another $1000 dollars in my pocket right now.

thanks guys, I get home late every day so I never get a chance to call Peter, I have found kits' i can order online that are South Bend, I want to order the MU 13-1.25 Con Fe now, I definatly want a clutch that will last! But it dosn't state clearly what comes in the kit, Now i will need a starter spacer, pilot bushing ect., but it does not state wether those come in the kit, I imagine that the South Bend kit's are alike no matter who sells them, Correct? Does any one know exactly what comes in the kit?
