I'm putting in a pint most of the time.
On occasion I also put in some Howes Meaner Diesel Kleaner.
I was having some seemingly injector issues a couple of yrs back. Someone here told me about Howes. I got some and added the recommended amount and I have to say this was the only additive (Pre ULSD) that has ever done anything to improve the running of any engine (diesel or gas) that I've ever used.
I swear I could feel the difference in the way it ran and how it sounded within just a few miles.
I've never noticed a thing from Power Service.
Now the oil is helping out with the ULSD issues we're having.

I really like the "Stanadyne Diesel Performance Formula." Stanadyne has been around a LONG time and IMHO they do a great job of R&D on all of their products. They were one of the first to release the new additive for the ULSD fuel. I use it in both my 1996 Dodge CTD and my newer 2006 too.

I've been using the TCW3 2 stroke oil for a few months now and it seems to make it run a bit quieter but I don't pay close enough attention to the mileage to notice any gain. I only add 1 pint per tank. Eric

Since the question was "what's the most popular" my answer is: I have no idea, but maybe you could do a poll.
Anecdotally, PowerService or Howe's seem to be very popular. Lucas is also at most truck stops.
I've lately been running Redline diesel fuel catalyst and the bio-based Fuel Power from Lube control. It seems to be working pretty well-- my truck is running the best it ever had, and it's clean too (lower smoke).
Interesting that the lubricity study floating around here showed biodiesel at only a 2% blend outperforming all the additives in the test at least as far as lubricity goes.

I've run the redline stuff and bunch of others and it seems two stroke is the only one that really made a difference for me. I did recently discover though that soy based biodiesel carries an octane rating of 48-67
Even if it doesn't cost $15 a gallon =X
