I found out today at the White Marsh get together how to make her smoke.
Just unplug the MAP sensor.
Smokes like heck. Gotta love it.
If you got a box give it a try. You'll love it and tailgaters will hate it.

 

So if I unplug my map sensor my truck will smoke? Wont it set a DTC? Im new to all of this I am a mechanic but never really got into diesels until now Thanx

Only works with a comp box from what I understand.

 

as long as you have a chip or box you can, I don't think it will work if it's stock, Paul you should fill out your sig so we can better se what you have.

i hear you can do it with just the Edge EZ also, I did it just for a small trip around town and i got P0236 code.. I dont know it the map being unhooked did it or if theres something else wrong my truck also ran like Sh*t popping and sputtering at high RPM like 60-70 mph plugged it back in and it runs sooooo much better soo if you want to i never had good luck with doing it. I just bought mach 4's dont really need to throw anymore smoke.
