Low 13's stock SRT neon?
My car runs 13.38 all stock,
Now its gotta gear, chip, cai, and no muffler.

Any vette 97 and up should win over a SRT neon, or at least be a close race.
and the 07's should blow it out of the water... 505hp.

Mike, I think the internet racers are just trying to figure out the math.. Unfortunately math doesn't win races as much as it should. Maybe the Vette got a bad gulp of premium fuel, de-rated due to high water temperature, the dude doesn't understand torque/hp curves so he knows when to shift?

Either way, good job. I know a guy with a Lightning with lots of goodies that got his behind handed to him by a big smokey diesel.. He now looks for stickers and big pipes before he pulls up to the big heavy diesels...

My SRT-8, isn't stock any more. Its has the CAI and exhaust. It might be a good race for the truck as the hemi motor is just breaking in. I wonder if I'll get 200k out it. Doubt it. My gas mileage is kinda sucks but I didn't buy it for mileage. I buying a indy 426 for it next year and a six speed. Z06, forget it. It would blow up. Heck its only money. I would run nos and methanol, I would be into the low to mid 11's. The air here sucks, so it might be a bit slower. I hope I get her fixed for the diesel day here in Edmonton. I still think that maddog will win and break into low 10's, high 9's. Its still a driver right. A bit smokey. Any bets on if Nasty girl will show...

No one else has smoked a vette with a stinky diesel. Sucks to be them!!! I got to put back in my new 62litre per minute dpp sticks and go hunting. You don't want kind of trouble you could get into. Viper hunting. Not just some old yuppy wanta be porsche or BMW protender.

I just want to say, it's not a matter of weight to power or none of that, the fact is, you spanked his **** and that's all that counts. It's a case of run what you brung, and I sure would be rubbing that dudes face in it. I'm heading out to find some rice burners, or hell, I may even go out hunting for a vette.

One thing you forgot Hohn, in that amazing, mind blowing post a few pages back, I take it your not a walmart employee

You remember Murphy's Law?? I've worked on cars/trucks and a whole bunch of other stuff and talked with engineers from big companies and they tell you mathematically how it is gonna work or supposed to work, then in walks Murphy and I smile and say, "hmmmm, how bout that". Theory is good, but just theory, real life is the only test bed.

I messed up, I in Penticton and Veron area for that period. I have to do a campground turbo swap, tomorrow. I got GCL to rebuild my top turbo, now I'm having some issues with it. I'm visiting PDR tomorrow to get a new turbo. This camping season been expensive, but at least the old girl dragged my 12k trailer out here on only one turbo. I had to open up my top wastegate so I could build some boost. The side of my trailer is black from all the soot. These old trucks are pretty tuff, I was pulling most of the way out here with 1000-1200 deg's. A new truck would have dropped a valve seat or worse running those temps.
