Ok, I finally got the ECM reflashed today and installed the XZT+. The schip & XZT+ don't play well together so it's one or the other. So far, I'd have to say the schip has about the same power but the XZT+ seems to run smoother through the rpms. I haven't had a chance to check the mpg level...maybe after I run thru this tank of fuel. I just installed a boost elbow, and have not driven it, so I should be hitting 30psi vs. 20 and I'm sure that will make a big difference also. Just wanted to post this info since I was never able to find any similiar comparison.

Overall, I'd say the XZT+ is worth the $$$ over the schip for the "on the fly adj," download features and Quad has realized there is a market for 2nd gen products. thanks Quad.

Download the aggressive tune. You won't be disappointed

I just installed the XZT+.

I'm kicking myself for not doing this when I bought the truck....and that's without downloading the aggressive tune. I imagine that I'll bomb some more soon. Probably step up to the Adrenaline, new TC, new injectors, and more gauges.

I'd like to thank my truck for sucking my checkbook dry.

Now I've got a problem with my XZT+. I can't download anything. I haven't been able to get through any kind of setup as it goes straight to the box where it wants the module information.....only that I haven't done the copying of files or other things yet, I don't think. Even then, it won't recognize the module. Pretty frustrating. I've tried to delete anything associated with this box on my computer. Help.

Be patient....dload it to your pc first, then to the module. Yep got the agressive tune...2004. 17psi boost(towing 6k) max but I think I have the Commander MAP/boost signal wire connected in the wrong place.

Be patient with what? The computer won't recognize the module. I can download all I want to my computer, the computer won't recognize the unit because I cannot get the proper window to show when to connect the module to upload the software.

I've read others having the same problem. Try plugging it in a couple of times. For me, it took 2x for it to recognize it. Are you running Win XP? If so, it should. Restart the PC and try it again....if not call Quad, the have good cust svcs.
