Smarty has WAY more low end, and removes all defuling. More settings, stackable.

They are in different leauges.

One is basically junk and one is basically the best tuner on the market. I don't think I have to tell which they are.

Smarty add boost fooling that sc lacks. Smarty eliminates top end defueling as well as low end torque management and sc doesn't. Besides that is something like this:
superchips
Smarty

I have a superchips and an Attitude/ w Juice. The Superchips in performance mode is incredible power. It is much faster and smoother than the Edge. It doesn't even compare. I had an edge juice w/ attitude in my 05 and it ran great but something isn't right with this new chip for 06 or maybe I got a faulty box? Superchips is nothing to scoff at though. I am truly amazed at the power.

I think the posters above are talking about the Superchips for the 2nd gen trucks (98.5 - 02). I haven't tried a SMARTY, but I am happy with my SC tuner. I added a boost fooler and a J-Hook for the Turbo. Before I added the fooler, the defueling did make it fall on it's face.

I recently tried the sc with the comp stacked. i had the comp off the whole time so don't know if it was adding timing, fuel, ect. but the low and mid power was great. I can get the egt guage on up there fast with the two running together. I wasn't brave enough to turn the comp on and try it for the rumors of blowing head gaskets haunt me still. When i have time to spare with the truck being down i might try them again with the comp on and the sc in the mid to higher settings. For the money it's a good stack but I need more air.
