I don't really know anything about the Smarty. I've got a Superchips programmer. Set on the highest setting I really don't notice a whole lot of difference in power, but I also had the Banks box installed before I got the Superchips, so I don't know how much that affected it. I did notice 1-2 mpg increase running it though.

I have had a superchips and currently have a smarty, I prefer the smarty by far. The smarty is also good for stacking, I've had it stacked with an edge comp and a tst pm3, both stacks ran pretty good.

I have a schip now and trying to get rid of it since I don't have the programer. It works great and has tons of power but I cannot compare it to the Smarty since I've never run one. I posted a similiar thread/questions but it was...."Smarty or XZT+." There are way better programers on the market today than the schip which allow the user more options, downloads and on the fly adj. I'm now installing the XZT+ because they seem to keep up on the 2nd gen technology.

I had a Superchips about 2 years ago. Ran it for 8 months and didnt see much in the way of performance. I borrowed a Smarty to try and couldnt believe the difference. The Smarty is much much better... No Question! It fuels harder, it has more power levels and it has more options. You cannot stack the Superchips because all the settings add timing. The Smarty has even levels that are fuel only.

SMARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They can't be compared, Smarty makes Superchips look silly. I would get the Adrenaline before getting either of those, but If I wanted a programmer instead of a module, I'd get the Smarty.

thanks for the support the reason i cant getta adrenaline is cause i cant afford a new tranny and gotta do something that the stock tranny can handle. ya know. another thing is i know alot of you guys are sayin the smarty is the best but i also need some reasons cause i know a dealer and can get the schip cheap and i need to know the benefits of a smarty seeing as it costs about 1.5 to 2 times as much as the schip. thanks again

If you can afford a Smarty you can afford an Adrenaline.

Just because it can make more power does not mean it has to. PL01 and PL02 are the same power type settings as a Smarty or Superchips would have but, you would also get gauges, de-fueling, warnings, turbo timer, warm up mode.....etc.

You don't even have to tap the pump. Then later when you decide you need more power, you just tap the wire and add about 120more hp.....it is free at that point!

The XZT+ is also a great box. It is just like Smarty, but has a switch on the fly feature. Best of all, it is 1/2 the price of Smarty & cooler egts.
