The smarty won't add power to a drag comp, but would add a lot to the fun factor. If he wants twins then look at head studs, valve springs, or maybe an exhaust manifold.

I have a smarty and I have dyno'd with and without it. I did loose something like 10RWHP, BUT the HP and TQ came on sooner in the RPM's. IMO I'll loose a few top end HP for a longer HP and TQ range. That and it's much more fun to drive. Mine's on fuel saver mode 90% of the time and it still makes a differance.
