Talking smarty mpg. #9 or#1

ive had my smarty for over4 months and ive tried every setting for short periods, mostly using #8 with the comp on 3/5.ive recently started a out of town job and i travel close to 150 miles perday,so of course i put it on fuel saver and no comp, mpgs seemed pretty decent,22-24mpg.then on the weekend i would put it on #8 with the comp to play, well last weekend i decided to try #9 and no comp for the weekend, then i never bothered to change it to fuelsaver for the weeks drive, well i figured my mpgs to be over 26mpg on #9,i thought #1 was fuel mode.not that im complaining, any one else got better mpgs not being on fuel mode?

It's to early to tell but so far I'm getting the same mileage on smarty 7 and TST on 4 as I do with smarty on 1 and tst on 4.

My best milage was on sw7. Hand calculated 20 on some easy around town driving and highway....not terribly fast (under 75). Wish I'd get what my overhead console says....... .....I think it says 36 mph or so.....

I picked up 1 mpg on #1 over #7 on a 400 mile hwy trip! TST box was off!

BB - What's the point of using a fueling box if Smarty is set for mileage? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Uhh, why don't you look in the Classifieds. There is one there that I can't believe hasn't been sold yet!

Oh, BTW, I can't do fuel saver anymore. Too many D-max's and P-stroke's show up when I'm on that. Last time I checked that setting out, my truck was a little piggish. I'm too spoiled on the higher settings.....

Believe it or not (and I know you won't), running the smarty by itself on #1 got me nothing. Running it on #1 with the TST on 4 gained me 1mpg. I'm guessing that with the bigger tires, gears, and lift, the truck just needs a little more oomph. Not to mention that passing people is far more exciting with the TST on than off.
