Any new developments with this issue? I'm having the same issues and trying to get the 1st - 2nd and 3rd - 4th up a little. 1st to 2nd is real low under anything under WOT. 3rd to 4th is not as bad because I don't mind just locking out o/d. Thanks.

Yea... the TV adjustment does not give you much flexibility. I tightened mine all the way and I still had a little more play than I cared for. Dodge says you should have an ~1/8 inch but I had a little closer to 1/4 at the tightest setting. I don't recall any type of TV adjustment at the trans end, but here's what I did and the result was a better shift. Smarty's extra torque will exaggerate a maladjusted TV cable.

Adjustment is done behind the APPS. You need remove the cover... on the back is the TV cable and the accelerator. TV is the one on the bottom. Slide the cable end off the stud by sliding forward. Then you'll have to remove the clip from the cable. Its the white plastic horseshoe type clip which will allow for cable adjustment when removed. Unclip this clip and slide it towards the driver's side. Pull the cable jacket out until its at the last click - or what ever it takes to properly adjust. When you go to attach the cable back to the stud on the APPS (with the APPS in the home position) it should not move the throttle on the trans, yet it should have minimal slack. Once done, place the white horseshoe type clip back on to hold your adjustment. ...if you can't get the clip back on it might be because you are not within one of the 3 possible positions. Try jiggling the cable jacket.

Good luck. I had the same issues with mine and the TV adjustment helped. I'm contemplating making a spacer to take out the remaining 1/8" but I'm far too tired to play with the truck today

Got a spring kit from him, but also a message that he needed to talk to me before I install it. I'm flying to FL in a few days, and been busy. I'll call back later this week and see what he has to say. I'll post the results.
