Currently going on my 6th pump is a little misleading, 2 rebuilds have been bad and replaced within the week of initial install (under warr.). Since then, I have had solid FP and experienced Castrophic Failure after pulling a long grade at high elevation. One failure was with an EZ only, other was DD1s and Comp. At the time, the COMP was off.
Current situation is good FP, and a dead pedal every morning until I get her going. I have to turn truck off and on a time or two to get the pedal to 'come back to life.' I have the usual death codes but it hasn't gone TU like the others.
Looking to do a big line kit, pusher system and new IP if I don't give up and sell her outright. Pretty frustrated...

I am thinking about the Helix 2 with 12 lift pump but just don't know. Lot's of $$ and spoke with a couple vendors and they don't think it is the 'silver bullet'.
Sure could use some help. The bummer is the truck is paid for, almost set up where I want it, only has 145k miles and I continue to have these problems...
Sorry, I guess I hijacked this one with my sobb story...

Thanks for the advice on this...

I did that for awhile, I had the TST set at 7 and the remote was under the back seat. The difference I can only imagine was like a shot of nitrous.

What fun!!!

Problem I had was that, when some situations did arise, my push down on the throttle foot muscles had a faster reaction time than my TST flip the switch on finger muscles. My boost was likely already above 15 psi and climbing when I hit the switch. I heard more than on comment like "Jeez, I thought your truck caught on fire". Then there was trying to actually drive one handed with my seat sliding into my back side pretty hard fiddling with a switch under the steering column.

These days I have the remote re-hooked up. I just leave it on 4 when the truck is empty, its still a good compromise should I get an un-planned un-controllable testosterone spike. Not that much trouble to turn it up should the situation present itself in a more relaxed fashion.
