Smarty differenc ?

had a chance to test out the smarty with what i have in my sig. really really LOVED it and i am going to get one very very soon. my question, since i have the DRAG comp, i was not able to use the timing of the smarty. just wanted to know if you can feel a big difference between level 8 and 9? by me have the comp, big injectors, am i really losing out on not being able to run the timing from the smarty?

I'd have to say no about the losing out..........the Drag COMP adds a lot more timing and fuel that the smarty does.......so really all you need is more fuel.

I think the COMP adjusts the timing about as far as it can go so you wouldn't really gain anything by adding more timing IMO.......could be wrong though?!?!?!

yeah i dont need any more timing that what i have i was jsut wondering if the smarty still gives you the seat off your pants feel , timing or not? not sure if the smarty would feel the same off the line with the timing or without it?

You deffinately don't want more timing, the only thing your losing out on is Smarty's timing advance through the ECM. But the Smarty will throw more fuel in on the low end and drag evey drop out of fuel out of the VP without a wire tap.
