Bob,

I've heard this mentioned before... Is this something you think I should have on my truck??

Thanks,

After having the Smarty for a while, the pedal rarely meets the floor. At part throttle, it'll pull like no ones business up until around 2k RPM. I just need to remember to put it all the way to the floor and it will go up to 3500 RPM no prob. I did a 3rd-4th gear run today, didn't look at my gauges doing the run, but as soon as I let off, I saw the EGT gauge coming down from 1500 degrees. So it will definitely get warm with it.

For me the Smarty works wonders in the low end, kind of trails off and comes back strong in the upper rpm range.(2500+) The TST works awesome in the mid to upper range, it is a sweet combo.

Dunno about the comp, but after a quick test drive with the smarty I knew I had to have one =P Couldn't quit smiling

You should run one. Your stock turbo is wastegated at around 20 and will support around 34. You could just block the wastegate too assuming you've got guages.

What is needed for this mod? Is it something I modify or a parts replacement? I'm guessing it's similar to the adjustable wastegate actuators I use on the turbo Buicks.

TIA,
