What # on SMarty produces most HP gains and the most smoke when stacked with a DRAG COMP?? Or does it just depend on the truck?, thanks, A.Wall

 

Every dyno result I've seen from that stack the drag comp lost a few hp when stacked with a smarty. Its more power down low, but cost a few hp up top.

 

Most smoke - #8
Most HP - I would guess #4.
(it's #3 with a TST).

I had the Smarty on 4 and the Drag Comp on 5 and dynoed 566/1119. I've herd that #8 will cause a drop of hp also.

 

Smarty has shown a drop in peak hp on some trucks, but the peak levels of hp were extended across the board.....meaning you are in your peak hp for a longer period of time. I think my truck runs best at SW2, 5x4.

 

Thats why it'll feel great to drive even if there's a slightly lower number on the dyno. More power through the rpms, but a lower peak.
