I'm nowhere near you but I have the same request for anyone around Texarkana TX. I would travel to you and all I need is a test drive. I sure would hate to drop that kind of money and be disappointed.

See you've got Rip's exhaust. He's a Smarty dealer, and as you know, is in PDX. He'll let you "test".

I'll second the motion you won't be disapointed...........I tested one out on my stock engine on #7........... broke the rears loose on dry pavement no problem. Gotta love all the extras too......read codes, adjust tires size, high idle.......its just nice.

YFZ....were you not the guy that was inquiring about why your trans shuddered when towing your toy box? ...and then another post about fishing for a "cheap" transmission? Unless you've rectified those issues, I don't think you'll want a Smarty just yet.

i am afraid you are mistaken. i did in fact though post to a thread about a guy looking for a tranny. i directed him to ebay.

I may be mistaken but aren't Smarty's VIN specific and can not be traded back and forth? If they aren't what is the point of everyone buying one. Why not just get a group together and all use the same one.
